Week 4- Activity 4 Importance of Tags and Categories

Why should regular users of the internet be using tags and categories whenever they leave a footprint on the web? 
It's easier to find posts and it gives more visitors to the person's blog or website. It also keeps things neat and organized.
Where are users asked to use tags?
I use tags on pictures to keep the pictures organized and when I look up that tag it will show only my pictures I tagged. 
What is geotagging?
Geotagging is when your JPEG pictures are tagged or labeled to show where they were took.
Why did you decide on those categories for your blog?
We can't  make categotries on Blogger.

My Favorite Color

YELLOW

Hmm... I don't really have a favorite color but I like bright colors, and what's brighter than Yellow.
I chose these three pictures cause they were the only yellow things I could find around campus. The first two are pictures I took while walking around the courtyard, I only found two, so I went back to class and I found the cookie box. Ohhh So pro my pictures yeah ;)

If Miss W were to visit your community, what would you recommend she visit?
I reccomend you visit the beach, Waikki, Ala Moana Shopping Center and Pearlridge.    
Where is your community in your country?
What?? But my community is Ewa Beach.
How is your community different or unique compared to other areas of your country?
We have a pkace to eat on every street, we have beaches, and its a beautiful place. 
Would she need to know a different language or would she get by with English?
 NOPE, english is just fine.
What are some phrases she might need to learn that are typically from your area of the world?
ALOHA
When would be the best time of year to visit?
Summer, we got beaches all over the place and a hella cool water park :)
Any special clothing needed?
No Shorts and a shirt is fine.

Week 1 Activity 4-Why Visit My Blog?

People should visit my blog because it's a blog that is updated at least once a week, unlike other blogs they just make it and don't even bother to touch it. Another reason why people should visit my blog is because it's cool. My background is based on different brands I'm in to, and I know that a lot of people are too. My posts are well thought out and written unlike other people that don't know how to spell and like to show the whole world how they spell. My blog is a fun way to get information.My blog is colorful and eye catching. So everyone FOLLOW ME!

A Global Activity You Have Taken Part In

I didn't take any part in any global activites YET, but I do want to be apart of Earth Hour on Saturday March 26, 2011 at 8:30. Earth hour is when everyone around the world turns off all their lights and anything powered by electricity for 1 hour.

Student Blog Challenge- Week 2

This week's challenge was to create an avatar that represents you. My avatar looks nothing like me, besides the hair. The hair color, style and length is about right. The rest of my avatar isn't that accurate but it looks better than when I tried to make it based on how I actually looked, it made my avatar look weird. My avatar may not look much like me but it has my personality. I look quite and innocent, but I'm outgoing, talkative, picky, and smart. My avatar looks so friendly but in real life I naturally look like that but I'm not actually all that friendly. I'm a negative person, I tend to look at almost everything the wrong way or in other words I look towards the bad side instead of the positive side. I'm also mean to people , I like to mess with people and just have fun with it.
